About: Adelehin Ijasan

I’ve been fortunate to pursue the two things I love most: crafting speculative fiction and performing eye surgery. I’m a writer and a consultant ophthalmologist.

My name is Adelehin Ijasan. My short fiction has appeared in Lightspeed, Interzone Digital, FIYAH, Canary Press, Kalahari Review, Omenana, Drabblecast, Mothersound Anthology, The Year’s Best African Speculative Fiction, and elsewhere.

I am a co-creator of the Sauútiverse, with work forthcoming in Sauúti Horror and other venues. My writing has been nominated for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize, the Nommo Awards, and the BSFA Awards, and I am the author of A Dying Giant in the Palm of Your Hand (Masobe Books).
